Program Description: From Here to Where? Assessing the Value of Items for Sale and Donation

Jeff Owen, a Business Partner of NAPO Nashville, and Junklugger for many of us, will moderate a panel with Sheila Whitlock, an estate sale coordinator, and Allie Wallace, a non-profit director who receives donations.

At the beginning with a client, we need a basic knowledge of value to guide the next step for items that will be discarded. How do we assess the current value of individual items that may be of higher value and larger volumes of collections, whether kitchen cabinet contents or “hum, this seems more valuable than Ikea furniture”? Jeff, Sheila and Allie will help us find a gauge to allow our clients to extend the value of their items into their next home.

Moderator:  Jeff Owen, Owner at Junkluggers of Nashville
