Jennifer Brinkman of Advanced Payment Solutions is our speaker.  Jennifer is not only extremely knowledgeable about our topic, she is a funny and entertaining speaker as well.  Jennifer is going to educate us on what our options are in taking payments, everything from credit cards to e-commerce to PayPal.

As you know, each meeting has a bit of extra something something – and this meeting is our NAPO book review.  We have a special guest: local author Tisha Morris, feng shui consultant, energy healer, and the author of 27 Things to Feng Shui Your Home (Turner Publishing). She is also a certified life coach and a yoga instructor.  Prior to finding her dharma in the healing arts, she practiced law for ten years and obtained a Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.

Tisha’s own transformational journey has given her invaluable experience to help others make desired changes on a holistic level in the mind body and home.

Tisha has an unique ability to heal and transform spaces by blending traditional feng shui techniques and interior design aesthetics with healing energy. In doing so, not only does the space undergo a transformation, but all those who occupy and encounter the space as well.

Tisha is trained in Reconnective Healing and is a Red Ribbon Member of the International Feng Shui Guild.  She is based in Nashville, TN with most of her services available in-person or by distance.

Linette George

Linette George founded Get Organized by George, Inc. in 2003. Through individual consultations, presentations, and group training sessions, she helps clients better manage not only their “stuff” but also their lives.  Linette’s goal is to help clients live and work better with less, and go green. To that end clients are consulted on conscious consuming, non-toxic cleaning options, reuse, recycling, proper disposal of hazardous waste, and donation opportunities. Ultimately she streamlines and declutters clients’ lives and offices while raising their environmental consciousness. Linette heads up the NAPO-Chicago Green Team and the NAPO National Green Organizers SIG (special interest group). She is a member of Green America’s Green Business Network™ and is a board member of SCARCE.

Jan Wencel

Jan Wencel founded Life Contained, Inc. in 2005. She specializes in teaching busy professionals how to get work stuff done so they can live their life more joyfully. She often plays “email therapist” to professionals whose email inboxes are piled high with messages and gives hope to those who have a sense that there is no possibility of catching up. In 2001 Jan and her husband streamlined their possessions, pushed them into a storage locker, & took a year-long, life-changing travel sabbatical. Living from a backpack, she learned she can live happily on far less. She’s a NAPO-Chicago Green Team member, contributes ideas to the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee where she lives, and volunteers for the Green Earth Institute, an organic farm in her community.

Heather Burke, founded Smart Space Organizing Inc. in 1999. She is a Silver Leaf Member and a Trained Professional Organizer with the Professional Organizers in Canada (POC). She is also a Golden Circle member with National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) Heather has earned her Chronic Disorganization (CD) Specialist and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) Specialist designations through the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD). She works with both residential and business clients in addition to being a speaker, author and organizing expert in the local media. Heather serves as a regional ambassador for NSGCD. Heather and her team specialize in working with square pegs and round holes, or where traditional organizing methods do not work. Heather and her husband of over 30 years have moved to right size (downsize) their lives and enjoy family time.

Our meeting topic this month will be a recap of the NAPO National conference with highlights of what we learned (a good sized group of us attended) and choosing which CD’s we’d like to purchase as a chapter for those who were unable to attend to have available to listen to at your convenience.
