About Us

Welcome to the Nashville Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers. We are a network of organizing professionals in the Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas who provide various organizational services, advice, solutions, and products. The goal of our chapter is to promote awareness of the organizing industry and its benefits to those in our region. Additionally, we support our members through educational programs and opportunities to support them in their businesses.

Our History

NAPO Nashville actually started off as an informal group of organizers who met once a month called the Tennessee Organizing Professionals or TOP for short. The ladies would meet back in 1996 once a month at a local church to share organizing knowledge and to network. It was only within the last few years that a new group of organizers coming in to the TOP group thought it would be a good time to try and become a chapter. With Cindy Sullivan at the helm the TOP organizers started the journey to become a NAPO chapter. In January of 2008, we officially became a NAPO chapter.

What Is A Professional Organizer?
A professional organizer enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using organizing principles and through transferring organizing skills. A professional organizer also educates the public on organizing solutions and the resulting benefits. Professional organizers help individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper, and their systems for life.
