November 2017 Program – Content Marketing with Laura Creekmore

The program for our November 9th, 2017 will be a morning meeting. Join us with guest speaker, Laura Creekmore, who will be presenting “Content Marketing to Establish Your Expertise.”

Program Description:

When you offer a professional service, content is often one of the best ways to showcase your expertise and establish yourself as an authority with customers and prospects. There’s no end to the amount of content you could create — but just like other stuff, content works best when it’s intentional and well-organized. Experienced content strategist and information architect, Laura Creekmore, shares her perspective on content marketing for a service, including her tips for creating messaging, meeting your audience’s needs, and staying organized with content.

About the Presenter:

Laura Creekmore has been making tech and content hold hands and play nice for 20 years. In 2008 she founded Creek Content, a consultancy focused on communications and content strategy for organizations in complex fields like health care and financial services. Laura is adjunct faculty at Kent State University, teaching content strategy.

Laura graduated from Vanderbilt University and has a master’s in information science from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Nashville, and a member of the board of directors for the Association of Junior Leagues International, the Nashville chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Oasis Center, and the Tennessee Justice Center. She is chair of the board of Nashville Cable, and a past president of the Junior League of Nashville.

She speaks and presents workshops on content strategy, content marketing, breaking through a cluttered media landscape, connecting with your audience, public speaking, and nonprofit governance issues.

Hope to see you there!
